Since 200 years, our family estate has been handing down from one generation to the next his savoir-faire and his knowledge of the terroir.
Nowadays, after working for 15 years with our father Guy Darriet, we, Jean-Christophe and Sandrine, work with in close relationship with our brother Philippe Darriet, director of the Wine University of Bordeaux.
The understanding of our work is to consider all this heritage set up since 1798 by the previous generations.
We have been respecting it for 200 years!
In 1950, Guy Darriet laid the foundations of a responsible viticulture in harmony with the environment. In this way, we use few soil enrichment products, we employ only natural products for treatments and we control our yields. In our Vineyards, it’s healthy grapevines which are growing on a healthy soil: all the elements are gather to produce natural wines. This is the heart of our philosophy to respect our terroir. Our process is to harvest grapes of a great quality which will be able to give to the wine a beautiful aromatic intensity.
Environment: Our estate is working on the “Haute Certification Environnemental level 3”acquisition and on the certification ISO 140001 for the 2016 year.
