Located in the south of the Margaux appellation on a gravelly plateau, Château Siran has a superb terroir that produces some of the greatest wines. Only 30 minutes from Bordeaux, Chateau Siran is the oldest family driven wine estate in the Margaux appellation.
It was in 1859, that the property was acquired to the Miailhe family from the count and the countess of Toulouse-Lautrec, the grandparents of the famous painter to! Since then, the Miailhe family has cherished its heritage; 25 hectares of vineyards in Margaux are worked with love and care to produce the elegant and traditional Margaux wines. Édouard Miailhe the sixth-generation member of the family, has been running the Château since 2007.
